So I started learning Spanish about 10 days ago. These are the methods im using:
- Paul Noble audio in car (15 - 30 mins per day)
- Duolingo - (30 mins approx. per day)
- Assimil Spanish with Ease (1 x lesson per day)
Am I on the right track or should i be using other methods too?
I definitely feel with the combination of the above that I am learning so much. Not everything I go through yet
'sticks', but as each day goes by I am getting better and better! :)

Is this a new course ? Or do you mean,
Michel Thomas
Paul Noble
Paul Pimsleur
Or is it a clever take on Mr.Noble being "inspired" by Michel Thomas ?

If you're learning a lot and you're enjoying it, then you're definitely doing it right. :-) Don't worry too much about discovering the perfect way to learn. I know that my methods are sometimes inefficient, at least compared to somebody like Iversen, Benny Lewis or Khaztumoto. But I'm having fun, and my French keeps getting better. Maybe I'm "doing it wrong", but really, who cares?
You'll reach some neat milestones this winter. And by the time spring rolls around, you'll actually be able to communicate in Spanish and make sense of the newspaper. Some basic grammar, a couple of thousand words, and you'll be able to do all sorts of cool stuff. As long as you keep on going, you'll definitely get there.

This means your methods are working for you, and that's what's important. I think quite a
few foreign language learners wish they could say the same about their methods :)

I am definitely finding the Assimil 'harder' than the Paul Noble method, although I am sticking with both still.

I've never used Paul Noble, but I've used Michel Thomas which I hear is very similar. Some argue that the Paul Noble version is an improved version of MT. Either way, if it's similar to MT then this should compliment the Assimil very nicely.
Whatever you do, don't give up. There are countless logs on this forum written by people who simply gave up after a month or two. Think of it as 'littering' on the HTLAL forum if you stop learning and just the abandon the log. You wouldn't want to break the law and litter would you?
