I don't study Italian, but the name "Life is Beautiful" sounds vaguely familiar.

Anyway, I'll put you down for two more challenges. As soon as I'm done with the 6WC, I'll try to get started on some Spanish challenges.

I keep a diary and I used to sometimes do it in Japanese, but it was just too difficult and I mangle it so badly that I gave up. I think Spanish might be easier once I get a little better. So I'll give it a try. If I keep my diary in enough different languages, it will be a good way to hinder people who want to read it.

Life is Beautiful is a wonderful movie! If you like drama, you must watch also "L'Ultimo Bacio", sua continuazione "Baciami ancora" and another one called "Ricordati di Me".

Hi all! I know I'm super late, but I was wondering if I could still join this team? I would like to improve my Spanish (grand goal is going from B2/C1 to a solid C2) and work on my French, which I began to study on my own a while ago. Thank you so much in advance!

I think it would be awesome to have a native Italian speaker in our team :)

Absolutely! If joining is still possible, I'd be glad to give a hand to whoever is learning Italian :)

Welcome aboard suzukaze and my apologies to my team mates for being AWOL for a number of weeks. Life inconveniently got in the way of language learning and other fun.

I see two things have occurred in my absence:

1. someone posted a "boycott Canada" rant in an unrelated thread (Quebec language law) which closed before I had a chance to respond (please don't boycott Canada, we're pleasant enough folks for the most part); and

2. a few of you rascals have gotten ahead in the challenge race. I am throwing down the gauntlet and hope to be chasing at yer heels in the near future. I have now posted (under the nomiker Evil Abed) a short piece to lang-8 representing my attempt at beginner challenge #1.

lang-8 entry - permettez-moi de me presenter....
