Where did you get Ant Tribe, yuhakko? I thought it was just a series of articles that
Ninibo taked about, not a video.

If he means the drama series i think he means it's called 蚁族的奋斗, i haven't seen it yet, though. Here's a youtube playlist for the series.

@Druckfehler : Yeah totally agreed, although I don't see anything really noticeable
yet, I feel that my concentration's gotten a bit better. I guess that's better than
nothing! But since I'll be leaving really soon for china, my routine's going to get
shaken up quite a bit. I'll probably listen a lot less to it.. but will try listening
to it at least once every 2-3 days!

@Ninibo: I had actually only seen 2 episodes ! I stopped for lack of time and that was
around mid month so.. I couldn't remember much more. In order to answer I started again
watching so thanks for making me do that too! It's definitely not easy. I only get the
gist of the story and miss a lot for sure. But still, I'm enjoying it and I guess the
more the story goes on, the more I'll understand the story. If I really like it, I
might restart it afterwards but work more on it.
And yeah, I was talking about the drama series and I'm watching from that exact list
from Youtube!

@Expugnator: Yes, go for it! Real Pekin contemporary life! Plus I'd be glad to see your
opinion on it (And definitely yours too Ninibo!!)

Well well! I received this morning my work permit! Which means that If all goes well
(and hopefully it will..!) I'll be leaving next friday or saturday! Just got to get my
visa and off we go!
I am definitely not ready and forcing myself to talk will be difficult for sure, but I
guess that's part of the deal!

On another note I've finished my japanese book. It was called 今愛にゆきます. Simple
story and everything but definitely a good read. There's a movie from it as well which
I'll try watching in the next days.
Funny note: regarding the wife's name, 澪, for some reason I spent about 3/4 of the
book reading that as れい and remembered only 30-40 pages before the end of the book
that it had to be read みお. I felt so stupid..!

So now that my book is over, I can finally be back to full Mandarin mode. I'm bringing
my 海辺のカフカ to China and WILL finish this tome (and the next one as well hopefully)
there, but for now my sitting commute time has become all cleared (I only read during
commute and for transfer and walks outside, listened to 유인나's podcast). As I believe
the March Challenge for the Chinese team is a 100 something challenge, I've decided to
read 100 pages of Chinese. I don't really know how I'll count that but I'll do my best.
I'll start tomorrow with one graded reader I've had for a while and not read yet.

Plans before leaving :
- Get my visa!
- Get my plane (to be done tomorrow)
- Understand how to take care of my phone there (which company and such. Any ideas?)
- Find apartments to visit (Again, any advice? A friend's going to help me find
something but there's never too much help!)
- Find a place to stay for the days there before getting my apartment
- Prepare my luggage
- Write a letter I've been planning to send since last August. (to my ex-flatmate)
- Read the full graded reader book (it's a chinese breeze level 2)
- See one last time the friends I need to see! (Probably going to be the hardest to
take care of)
- Try surviving --> actually, this will be the hardest for sure.

Shanghai : D-6/7

Shanghai : D-5 (Departure on Saturday at noon!)

Ok well, my plane ticket is bought, tomorrow I'm going to do my visa and unblock my
phone so that it can get a chinese Sim card.
My week is planned to see pretty much everybody so that's one good thing taken care of.
I am about to go start my luggage and will finish on wednesday.

Apart from that hell, my work is another kind of hell as I know I won't be able to
reach my objectives before this friday. In my defense, They didn't prepare anything for
me so I spent 2 weeks without a phone although that's my most used item.

Alright! Off to prepare my luggage and after that, time for writing the postcard for my
ex-flatmate! (+ Japanese practice since she's jap!)
