I need to dig out my old Living Language, Colloquial, and Teach Yourself books (I can
never remember which was which until I see the cover). I liked some, and dislike others, but the one common denominator I remember from all of them is that I rarely if ever made it past the seventh to tenth chapter. There was always too much material to take in in a short period of time. If others had the same experience - that no one made it to the end! - it might not matter if the new series only contains half the material as the old. I'll post my thoughts again once I dig up my old courses. At some point I'll learn to work the wiki on my own, but until then, feel free to use anything I find. edit: It looks like most of my older books are "Teach Yourself."
