Dunno about Netflix or any of those, but two great French TV series are Profilage and Arsène Lupin. Profilage is a crime show about a forensic profiler, and Arsène Lupin is about ... well, if you're studying French you really should know who Arsène Lupin is. The series is from the 70's, but it has aged well. A colleague at work gave me a tip about Les revenants, but I've yet to watch it.

You should keep on watching it, it gets better :) Although, I think only season 1 has been filmed thus far... not sure though.
