I second what egg_uk said; thanks! This challenge is quite motivating, and I'd only be keeping my daily log in my little notebook (where I'm keeping it anyhow) if it weren't for it.
Only 6 more days until I start the challenge for real!

Thanks guys. Volte, I'm afraid to think what'll happen when you start studying "for real". Don't burst a vessel, dude :)
Today I finished Pimsleur Spanish 21-30 and Takeoff in Spanish CD 1. Some 6 hours in total.

I'll be fine, don't worry.
Good work on the Spanish! With 6 hours in a day, maybe I should be the one warning you not to burst a vessel! ;)

I didn't burst a vessel but my hard drive suffered a malfunction - without breaking down (which would have been easier to figure out). Not the fancy one, but the one running Windows, bookmarks etc. A terrible waste of time late last night and most of today. Sigh. Tried dual booting with ubuntu, went back to Windows. One nice day...

A couple of hours each day for the past few days. My main computer began acting up again and I spent most of my free time today researching what's new and "cool". Ahem I decided on a convertible 14" tablet pc. I will definitely use it to practice my Japanese calligraphy (main excuse for dishing out) and share it with the board :)

This week was uneventful. I spent a lot of the time soulsearching and experimenting. I watched cartoons in Spanish every day with my daughter. One day I will write an essay why I think cartoons are such great tools for adult language learning. I also listened to the Russian audiobook channel. I actually understood a thing or two. In reality my comprehension was rather disappointing. Anyway, hopefully next week I will get out of my Russian dilemma (more of a gridlock) and finally settle on my future language lineup. I do not intend to drop anything I "officially" adopt. Spanish is in, that's why I added it to my profile.
