No choice? Is that because you plan on using an Assimil course that's not based in English?

Yes, I do. I plan on learning French and possibly German before anything else (after I finish my Spanish), but I'm not really sure.
Some of the Assimil courses not available in English I'm interested in (these would all be years in the future, as I'm just now starting my "language journey"): Using German Using Italian Swahili Hindi Japanese Russian Greek Turkish Obviously I will never make it through all of these, and I really have no idea just how many languages I plan to learn, or how well I will learn them. I must admit to now being extremely confused. I have a second-hand copy of "Le nouvel Espanol sans peine" which I can't find on the Assimil site at all - there only appears to be "L'espanol sans peine". It has 109 lessons over 475 pages rather than... "Un livre format 12 x 18 relié-cousu de 100 leçons en 608 pages." It has a different ISBN and a different front cover. http://www.europeanbook.com/langlearning.html sells Assimil courses in the US and the "Using" courses are cheaper than Amazon. Using French with CDs $75, Using Spanish with CDs $95.
