I click the "learn" button, and run through the sample flashcards and I keep seeing the cards that say "hey if you run through all your repetitions every day you will remember 95% of your stuff"
And I keep seeing this same card over and over and over...
Is this normal? Will supermemo tell me when I am done with all my repetitions?
If I just keep clicking "pass" am I destined to be in this endless cycle, or do I have to click "Good" or "Bright"?

Now I deleted all but 2 "cards" and cycled through them 5 times or so...
when I click "learn" it says "nothing more to learn"...
but...
when I come back tomorrow will I restudy these flashcards?

Yes - I downloaded supermemo a couple of weeks ago.
Nice idea but the programming is apalling.

Could I preferably get on MSN with a SuperMemo user to ask some basic beginner questions? I'm sure lots of people have the same questions I do, and it would be beneficial for the forum if I posted a summary of the results.
Questions would be like...
What's the difference between beginner, basic, advanced, warrior?
How many elements should I start with? 100? How many repetitions of each should I expect on the first day? For example, with fifty cards, I was just sitting there holding down the enter key, just cycling for about five minutes and didn't get any "you are done" message. In real time that would take 2 hours. That seems a bit extreme.
Is simply scoring "pass" good enough or will I be stuck in an endless review loop?
Is there a difference between "learning new cards" and "reviewing old cards" or is that all encapsulated under "learn".
If I add 10,000 cards, does supermemo limit the number of new cards I am going to learn per day, or the next time I click "learn" will I be sitting at the PC for eternity?
I have plenty of questions like this.

And another...
When I cut supermemo down to 2 elements, I flipped through a couple reps and then eventually got a message that said "nothing left to learn"
So does that mean that when I open supermemo tomorrow, I will be given some more reps of those cards?

My advice is use JMemorize instead. I think it does pretty much the same stuff, it's free, and there are no ads.
