Thank you all dearly for the responses.
The only Spanish im going to practice is when i goto Cuba, for 3 weeks. Ill be trying my utter best to keep up with the people there, surely understanding isnt a big issue. Im more affraid of speaking it. On the other side, its a challange, and after all i have English.and ofcourse my hands and feet.

I'm also interested in the number of words RS v3 teaches.

I'm way ahead in grammar and other aspects, but RS teaches vocab quite effectively. So, if you can get it for free, use it is what I think.
