forestillede isn't correct, you need a different verb here I think. What were you trying to express?
Watch out for neuter vs. common nouns ;) i.e. -et vs. -en
Just my non-native 2 Euro cents :) |

Mange tak for dine non-native 2 Euro cents!
I wanted to use the Dutch verb "voorstellen" (= "vorschlagen" in German). Pâ dansk den verb hedder "foreslâ, foreslog, foreslâet".

LEKTIONEN AF MIT KURSUS DANSK I. D. I GÅR

- aftes > aften
- I've never seen "finlæse" (that doesn't mean it doesn't exist though ;)
- den afsluttende møde

Tusind tak for dine korektioner! :)
No, the expression i "gâr aftes" is 100 % correct! I will give you similar examples from my workbook "Vi snakkes ved":
- i forgârs = vorgestern
- i aftes = letzten Abend
- i eftermiddags = letzten Nachmittag
- i gâr morges = gestern Morgen
- i mandags = letzten Montag
- i tirsdags = letzten Dienstag
So the ending "s" always refers to time adverbs in the past! I am now happy that I can also teach you something, this way we will both improve our Danish!
afsluttende møden:
möden = das Treffen
afsluttende möden = das abschließende Treffen
den afsluttende möde = dieses abschließende Treffen
I meant to say "das abschließende Treffen".
About "finlaese" I have to consult my Dutch friends because I use a Dutch - Danish Gyldendal dictionary to look words up.

Fasulye,
das abschließende Treffen = den afsluttende møde
dieses abschließende Treffen = denne afsluttende møde
If you want to use an adjective together with the definite form of the noun, you make the construction like in German, ie. <article> <adjective> <noun> without the definite suffix.
Only without an adjective, den/det is a demonstrative pronoun, eg. den møde = dieses Treffen (but it is actually more like Geman DAS Treffen, where you emphasize the article and thereby make it a demonstrative pronoun).
I think in the first sentence, you have a wrong word order, the verb should be on the second position like in German (I'm not 100% sure about this though).
With 'finlæste', did you mean you finished the book? I don't think there is a single verb for that, my gut feeling would be 'vi læste bogen færdig'

Hi limey and daegga,
As a group of three dedicated non-native speakers of Danish we get some good suggestions about how to correct my original Danish sentences. We don't even need a native speaker to help! I myself could consult the grammar part of my Danish workbook to validate the expression "i gâr aftes" and after checking daegga's suggestions, I agree with both of them, so now I am able to edit my original writing correctly.
Many, many, thanks to both of your input! :)
Dem hjaelper mig godt!

OUTLOOK: TAC 2013 TEAM VIKING
For the next year 2013 I will continue this log writing in Danish as a team log of the Team Viking.
After my last Danish lesson next week for the VHS autumn semester 2012, I will post a detailed analysis of my study achievements of Danish of this year 2012. This will be necessary as a basis for the log voting which will take place at the end of this year.

DEN SIDSTE AFTEN AF VORES KURSUSSEMESTER DANSK I D.
I tirsdag mødeste vi hos vores lærer dansk derhjemme. Hun lavede mad for os. Va ankom kl. 18:30 og aftenen gik tiel kl. 21:15 for mig. Vi var med 5 personer, en kursist var desværre syg. Vi talede for 60 % dansk og for 40 % tysk om aftenene. Maden smagde meget goed og jeg drak tyske "Apfelschorle" hele aftenen.
Den var en hyggelige afsluttende aften!
Jeg ønsker os GLAEDELIG JUL!!!
