Thank you D. Kiziria! Thanks to you I just wrote my first sentences in Georgian! :-)

Pretty cool, isn't it?

I just realized you started early. No fair! I'm champing at the bit for midnight to roll around so I can start my 6WC (although I did spend some time researching materials I'd be using).

Really, really cool. I really think that of all the languages I've studied, Georgian sounded the most "foreign"
initially (except maybe Albanian). Now I'm starting to recognize sounds and words and even put basic
sentences together!

Yes, I got a bit of a head start so it is more like an 8 week challenge for me. But don't you worry! I'm only
logging hours for work that I've done starting in May.   I'm not a cheater! ;-)

I was giving you a hard time :-) Sometimes it's hard to properly convey it in text without resorting to emoticons.

Thanks Murdoc! I'm still getting used to my Georgian keyboard and it often substitues a კ for a ქ !

I haven't been able to study much Georgian as I was at a conference all weekend. I did, however make it through
Unit 2 of Kiziria and I am on to unit 3.

I watched a little bit of Georgian TV and was able to pick out a stray word every few sentences.   Do any of you
out there know any good links for Georgian TV?     All the ones I have seem to freeze every time I try to access
them!

More to come...
