As a newbie I cannot edit the post to put the link up to my TAC log-to-be. So here it is: My French Log [TAC 2015">

I am studying French.
Merry Christmas everyone!

p.s - Since I am away on holidays now and I won't be back until early January, what happens in terms of being assigned to a team? Do I just get assigned somewhere and then I'll later find out? Hopefully I will get a chance to reply to any questions I get asked or do anything I need to do on here, but I cannot guarantee this unfortunately (there are some very remote places in Australia).

My English is surely advanced, but I have serious problems which I've yet to overcome (like, for example, bad
listening comprehension). I'm not like an average advanced ESL guy who lurks around really complex grammar
and vocabulary. This being said, to me it's not actually important too whether I am in Advanced or in Advanced
ESL, I'm gonna do things differently anyway.

I've signed up for the East Asian Team, as all the languages I'll be working on are
represented there.

I think the advanced study group will actually cater to your needs well. Not everyone will be working on highly subtle grammar/vocab. I even listed Polish, where I can't really claim basic fluency because I rely too much on the Russian equivalents.

You choose your team yourself. Nobody can edit Josquin's posts, he just saved the edit links in case the button disappears. Have you seen the wikia list?
If you're going to do Spanish and Esperanto as well, you can also join the Romance team.

BTW, is anyone interested in captaining the Romance team?

I wasn't a good team member in 2014 so I'm still not sure whether I'll join any team in 2015 but I will for sure learn English (at Advanced Level C1+/C2) and German (about B1 right now).

I've also offered a name "Gegenwart" for German team :)

I am not super begeistert by 'Gegenwart' as it sounds a bit like the English word for wart to me - actually 'super begeistert' might be a better name, or "Der Hammer" etc.

If you as team captain start the TAC thread we can start discussing things there.
