I always mix up "der Zaum" and "der Zaun" in German - the first meaning a horse's bridle and the second meaning a fence - and I had to look up which was which then!
I always have to slow down whenever I am about to say the German word "schwül", meaning sultry, as well, because without an umlaut it means "gay" :]

Sponge, 'schwül' pronounced with a nasal twang also means gay. Or maybe gay-ish.
And we usually say Zaumzeug to avoid confusion with Zaun.
