I would suggest the free courses from Deutsche Welle. I don't know how good are those at the A1-A2 level, but I really enjoyed those I studied at the B1-B2 level.
Here something that seems to be interesting: Mission Europe

Hi Hidden,
Welcome to the German team. For listening practice, I'd suggest Assimil's German with Ease. I alternate between this
and the Michel Thomas course. The Assimil dialogues are very entertaining and engaging.

Thanks for the suggestions Flarioca and Tournesol. :)
I'll have a look at Deutsche Welle.
Unfortunately I wont be able to try Assimil. I can't afford it at the moment, so I'm pretty much limited to the resources I already have.
German
I'm currently wearing out the German tracks on my DVD's. Even when I'm not watching them, I've started having them on as background noise. Whether this will help with my listening or not remains to be seen.
I'm also trying to get my head round using tenses.

Ok, I'm a terrible log keeper. :(
The procrastinating continues.
I've spent a lot of time thinking about what I should be doing, and very little actually doing it.
I have a German test coming up soon, and I'm starting to get more than a little freaked out. I hate tests. :(
If I can't think of what to say in English, how the heck am I supposed to say it in German?
Ich habe keine Chance. :(
Apologies for the late night ramble. :(

Maybe this test will make you move forward, in spite of its results.

Ok, my first test is next week and I'm sweating buckets.
I've spent alot of time doing nothing, and worrying about it constantly. I always seem to end up putting things off, procrastinating until it's too late.
Also, as I stated in my last post, I'm a terrible log keeper...useless in fact. :(
Almost a month between posts and not much to say (apologies to all my team mates for my poor start at this).
I intend to buckle down and really make an effort from this point on.
I will be posting an update in this thread at least once a week, even if I don't have much to say. Hopefully that will give me the incentive I need to focus on this (I'd hate to have to post about nothing every week).

Well...apparantly I didn't do too bad on my first test. :)
I didn't freeze (though I 'almost' did a couple of times), and I managed to answer all of the questions. I did have a mini meltdown afterwards, but I got through it in one piece...just.
Next test coming up soon, so now I can start to panic about that one instead. o.O
