Wow, that was awesome!
And that explains why I cannot understand Tuõddâr Casanova, by Tiina Sanila. Rather than Inari I think she is Skolt. They sound similar but the printed lyrics (YouTube) are absolutely different.
Tuõddâr Casanova
Thank you for copying the Inari text and translating to North Sami. It is different for sure.

As long as you got something out of it, that's all that matters. I'll have to do some more exploration over the weekend of Saamic music since what I know is pretty much confined to SomBy, Jiella and Sofia Jannok. What little I heard of Tiina Sanila wasn't bad.

My favorite groups of all time include Intrigue (of Karasjok, not the American one) and AMOC who is Inari. I like Alit Boazu, Berit Margrethe Oskal, a little bit of Rolffa, Mari Boine (Persson), Niko Valkeapää, Saivu, Sara Inga ja Ante Utsi, Torgeir Vassvik, Vajas, and I could keep going but this is a good start in addition to SomBy and Sofia Jannok, whom you already know. I like Jiella too. Tiina is not bad for a garage band.
The hardest part is locating MP3 or disks of these artists, but persistence pays off.

I just learned something very interesting. I've noticed it before that words have more syllables in reality than on paper.
márfi (mar-fee but pronounced ma-ra-fee) "sausage"
čilgehusat (should be 4 syllables but is pronounced chee-le-ge-hu-zat) "declarations"
r and l take longer to say, resulting in an extra syllable. This is because of šva-vowels, or glide vowels. It is a very short vowel sound that cannot be printed but sounds like other vowels. This sound is sometimes called the weaker vowel or the glide vowel.

I wish I could add keyboards but this computer won't do it.
This is a fun one! Like a tongue-twister.

Found a fun way to get the characters I need without going all over websites to copy them. They are in the computer so there has got to be a way to add keyboards.
Anyway,
