Tak skal du have, Iversen!

@tarvos
Kult, at du faktisk taler frit her.

I like the idea of small monthly challenges, even if I'm late in January.

Here is my January challenge:

Hi, my name is Mareike and I live in Germany. I have an interest in Swedish for five years. I have learnt Swedish for one and a half year. For a year I took a course, but now I use self study to improve my Swedish knowledge. In this year I plan to learn more Swedish.

Dear all,

Now and then I cannot help wanting to give you little glimpses of what make Norwegians into Norwegians - knowing the culture is at least 50% of knowing the language in my book. I therefore give you the following little insigth into how the Norwegians intend to win as many medals as possible in the upcoming winter Olympics. Their secret weapon: Norwegian brown goat cheese (brunost).

A real Norwegian cannot live without it - so 60 kilos of brown cheese is being imported into Russia. Whether it will actually help us win medals is more uncertain, as it does not contain anything that improves your strength, but you never know:-).

I’ve updated the fifth post with all those who’ve taken part in the January challenge. I think it went pretty well for the team as a whole: out of 16 active team members, 10 posted an introduction in their TL: not bad, don’t you think?

If I missed someone, please let me know, so I can fix the problem. And if someone’s still willing to give it a try, there’s still a few hours left in January. I’m not going to be a stickler for deadlines: just tell me you’re in a weird time-zone and it’s still January where you are! ;-)

Finally, who’s going to take part in the 6wc starting tomorrow? I’ve seen daegga, WoofCreature and Serpent. Who else is going to be there? I’m going with Spanish (my Swedish is no longer eligible, unfortunately).
