November Alternative Challenge:
Italians - Part I Filmen beskriver italienare som åker utomlands. Delen 1 handlar om två män som transporterar stulna flotta bilar till Dubai. En av dem gjort det tiotals gånger, och den här är hans sista resan eftersom han kommer att pensioneras. Den andra mannen är inte erfaren alls, och den här är hans första resan. Han är ung men den äldre mannen litar på honom. När de kommer till Mellanöstern så måste de stå inför en alldeles olika kultur, och den unge mannen vill ha många problem med det... There are still a couple of days to complete the November challenge.
Meanwhile here’s the December Challenge. As the TAC’14 is coming to a close, I think it’s time we had a look at what we’ve achieved this year and what our projects for the future are. So, what have you learnt this year? You can interpret this question as you prefer: what have you learnt about your TL? About learning languages? About yourself that you’ve discovered while learning languages? And what are your plans going forwards? Will you still be learning a Scandinavian language in 2015? So, I guess now’s the time to start that conversation. Personally, I’m not yet sure whether I’ll do TAC’15, and even if I did so, I’d rather not be a team leader. Judging by the dwindling activity on this thread, which – even though it never totally died – often wasn’t exactly lively for long stretches of time, I feel that I’ve failed the team by proving incapable of keeping most of us energized and engaged. I think you did a good job, Emme. I even mentioned it at the Pre-TAC thread. You did your job well. I personally went into a different vibe for Norwegian. I started doing the SC and thus going through massive input and reducing the already low interaction with other learners and with native speakers. The SC didn't leave me time for doing that within a day, given that I was taking 6 languages and learning two other ones outside from that. But this thread was fairly alive giving this year's TAC standards, and you kept working on some interesting challenges that would provide a good oportunity for practicing output in our languages.
I am going to write my report a few days later. I have mixed feelings and I need to reflect deeper upon what became of my Norwegian. As for continuing with the team, I'm all for it, though I'm not sure others will benefit of my companion. I have experience with most resources out there, though, and maybe I can be of help to beginners. 3 persons have voted this message useful |
