EDIT: It's Ling Tosite Sigure, not sugire. I don't want to edit the post for fear of messing up the song links. Honestly, the English writing doesn't sound at all like the Japanese name. It's more
like Rin Toshite Shigure.

Good luck with your study and enjoy the songs! I love music too, my favorite Japanese singer is 中島みゆき.

So, I was messing around on Youtube today and decided to watch something for Gaki no Tsukai. BTW, if someone knows of an official place to watch
these unsubbed, let me know. I was able to tune out the subs entirely while I was watching the video, and that's thanks to it being quite small.
But I'd prefer if there are no English subs at all. The Japanese captions, though, are heaven-sent.
Anyway, it was about a Lego team building competition. Here's the video. I don't think I
mentioned before, but part of what I do for work is tutor preschool and lower elementary kids. Don't ask. I know it's not related to my degree,
and hopefully I'll be able to talk about it in detail sometime soon. The reason I mention it is because, well, I teach a Lego elective, and it's
pretty popular among the kids. I've seen amazing creations made by children who are only 4 or 5 and up. It takes them 5 minutes to come up with a
highly intricate model. Those guys on Gaki no Tsukai.....well.....I've never laughed so hard in my whole life :D You'll understand when you watch
the video. Just watch it. Trust me, it's hilarious :D
Also the language was fairly easy to understand. I still tripped up on a lot, but I was able to follow for the most part. Probably because they
were too busy laughing to talk properly :D

Thanks a lot, Anya! I like 中島 みゆき Nakjima Miyuki a lot too. Her style is somewhat folk,
and I don't know, very Japanese. I haven't listened to her much recently, though, because I've
been taken by J-rock for the most part. Also, does anyone here like Enka music?

I just noticed, that Lego episode on Gaki no Tsukai featured Wentz Eiji ウエンツ瑛士. Wow,
last I saw of him was in Gokusen season 1. I know he's active in the entertainment industry,
just hadn't been following him. Is he a regular on the show? I have only watched two episodes
so far...

For the vast majority of the Gaki no Tsukai episodes I've seen, the main lineup is:
- Hamada Masatoshi (浜田雅功)
- Matsumoto Hitoshi (松本人志)
- Yamasaki Housei (山崎邦正)
- Endou Shouzou (遠藤章造)
- Tanaka Naoki (田中直樹)
There are a few others that appear quite regularly as well, especially on the year-end batsu
games, but I don't recognize the name you gave as one of them.
