The person who is currently in the lead has been playing visual novels so that seems I be the way to go to
read a lot fast. Personally I prefer reading something that is easier to count since for vn you have to count
each screen.
I think it's really great that so many different materials count towards your score since I tend to get bored
easily if I stick with one thing for too long.
I just wish tadoku would available every month instead of just 4 times a year. It has really motivated me to
read and somehow I managed to reach my goal of 500 pages with 7 days.

I did my 自己紹介. I'm not sure if I'll post an English translation yet.. wouldn't you rather just read the Japanese?

Bump.
I guess nobody noticed I finally updated the first post last week -- nothing special, just links to everyone's log, etc. (Thanks for the ideas Josquin!) Please report anything I'm missing.
I'm still gathering links from TAC'13 and some other sources for the second post but it would be helpful if somebody already has a streamlined version of what's there, and/or any more stuff to have a useful link collection...
A couple more questions...
-We're a huge bunch and there are still a couple of guys sorta floating around. Should we declare the team closed, set a maximum members limit, or something?
-The third place holder. One of my unexpressed ideas was that in addition to our own logs, we could keep it as a central 'progress report' summary to be updated once a week or so. What do you guys think?
-Subsequent placeholders might still be useful to add other stuff yet keep everything nicely tidy, so any other ideas about possible uses are still welcome.
Sorry everyone for taking so long.

@mrwarper: thank you very much for doing all of this :)
first of all, since my log link isn't in the first post: my log
this is my first time participating in the TAC but...do people usually sign up later then the mid of January? I always thought that in general "sign ups" for TAC as a whole would "close" within a week or two.
by progress report you mean just a sentence or two per member per week? personally I think that would be a really cool idea. like you said, the time is huge and it is sometimes difficult to follow up on everyone. I think it could be good to compare how much progress people have made and maybe exchance studying idea/tips based on that.
I also think a resource list with useful links to studying materials and book/movie/drama recommendations could be nice.

I think it depends on the team but usually people are open to new members regardless. But if a team gets
really big I could see how they might close it. Often though, a lot of people will drop off and so the list of
people actually posting gets smaller.

Thanks for all that Mrwarper!
I really like the idea of a quick update once a week in a separate place for all of us.
Life can get busy and it'd help a lot to have a place where we can keep up easily.
As for closing the team, I don't really mind whether we do or not. As said right above by
Kraemder, anyway the number of active people will decrease over time anyway. But if the
majority decides to closes admissions, I'm ok with that too.
I'll put my 自己紹介 soon!
