I don't know the answer to that question, but I agree about wanting to have more of these community challenges here. The January Dutch and Hungarian Challenges were great ideas and this one sounds fun as well, so I'm hoping that there will be some more of them later on this year. :)

According to the site, the Tadoku challenge is 4 times a year, but this is already the
2nd round. So twice more this year. I think we can fit in another language challenge ;-)
For me, this challenge has a much more profound impact on my habits, probably because
there's a highscore and because I can see that even reading 5 more pages makes an impact.
It would be awesome to convert this approach to our 6 Week Challenges, but right now I'm
having trouble figuring out how it could work.

I agree – although I'm not very competitive as a rule, being able to get instant feedback on your score and position is a fabulous motivator. I wonder if some Twitter-skilled person could set up a similar "bot" for future six-week/one-month challenges?
