It all looks like very colloquial and informal writing -
I am guessing that they are talking about a 'movie' or a really big hall. I think its a slang word - that means 'really big' or 'far out'.

An idiom that means 'really' as in true - a direct word for word translation wouldnt really make sense.

'wys' would mean 'show' in this sentence

Hoi allemaal!
Ik woon nu in Nederland sinds drie jaar terug of zo, en vindt 't leuk om Nederlands te oefenen.
Ik heb het heelemaal niet gestudeerd, maar ik denk dat ik moet meer schrijven, en niet alleen praten ;)
Tot de volgende keer,
Petteri

I did some Afrikaans on-line before I moved on to Dutch. I'd like to get back in that but the dictionaries I use seem to suck. Anyone got any good ones?

For Dutch I have the Van Dale dictionnaries, but they are very annoying because they haven't the genders of the nouns. probably they thought that the people will be Dutch-speakers, therefore they didn't put the infos for the learners of this language.
Mostly, I prefer the internet ones, for example:

http://forum.wordreference.com/?langid=6
