Mick, I am interested in learning Afrikaans, at least a little bit. I am finding it difficult to find resources. Do you have any recommendations? Thank you!

Depending on how much you want to learn, I've got a list of books for learning Afrikaans on my blog at http://www.afrikaanslondon.co.uk/boeke/. I've not really looked into online resources, they didn't start appearing until after I'd been learning for quite a few years.
