I'd be curious to hear what anyone can tell me about Chinese with ease. Is it appropriate for an intermediate learner? Characters, or just pinyin?

It has both characters and pinyin. There is a lot of audio, over 4 hours. The first volume may be a little slow for some who is intermediate but it picks up in the second volume. I don't know exactly what intermediate is but I think it would still be pretty useful. I used it starting out and it was pretty challenging for me. I think it's a good course overall but it isn't perfect. You can check out my log for some criticisms I have.

Reached Lesson 21 today. I am having a break next week I will post again when I reach the next revision lesson
28.
I have now done 133 Kanji from Remember the Kanji using the reviewing the kanji website.
Remember the Kana arrived today, it looks good I wanted to reinforce the kana I have learned and get away from
romaji. Japanese Kanji Flashcards 1 Series 2 by White Rabbit Press also arrived I am going to use these to review
the meanings of the kanji first and then the readings once I have finished Remember the Kana as the cards have
no romaji. I bought these cards as I have set myself the target of siting the JLPT N5 or N4 in December and
wanted to learn Kanji specifically for that level.
I also have a book called "Quick Mastery of Vocabulary in preparation for the Japanese Language Proficiency Test
N4/N5" again with no romaji so I will wait until I have finished remember the Kana.
