I don't intend to study Polish as it is my mother tongue but I wish you all good luck. I'm surprised to see people who plan to study it. Usually Russian wins among people interested in slavic languages.
Regarding the name, how about Dżdżownica (eartworm):P or maybe Gżegżółka (a folk name for common cuckoo and a word commonly used to confuse native speakers due its irregular spelling). Just kidding. The consensus regarding the name is distinctly bovine, so I'm happy with either Żubr or Żubrówka. Heck, even my tag name is appropriate ('Moo'by). Maybe I can be the team mascot, just don't barbeque me! 1 person has voted this message useful | |||

I actually wanted to say 'You are(Jesteś) very kind' but shortened it to 'very kind'. I've noticed that some terms I can get away with in English can't be used in Polish in the same way. Thanks for that, good to know that a direct translation of 'many/much thanks' is a no go in Polish, as I tend to use it a lot in English. Yes I do realise it's a verb, I was trying to say '...for their kind offer to help'. That doesn't work? 1 person has voted this message useful |
