	This thread has become somewhat moribund, but on the off chance that anyone's still subscribed to notifications, I thought I'd drop in to say hi. How are we all doing? (How many of us are still here, for that matter?) I certainly haven't been very active on the forum, but I've been studying diligently offline. I recently completed the textbook "Colloquial Catalan" which was fun but doesn't take you very far (all the material had already been covered in my one year of university-level Catalan). Now I've moved on to the 1975 edition of Teach Yourself, and I'm loving it. Like the other sixties-seventies TY books, it moves fast, introducing several new grammatical concepts in each chapter and then providing translation exercises in both directions. I love this style of textbook that covers a lot of material in a small amount of time. I also checked out a Catalan telenovela yesterday, one called "La Riera" which is apparently quite well-known. It has the option of CA subtitles, which makes it a great learning resource. 2 persons have voted this message useful
