Whereas when talking about massage, I'd argue it's a fixed expression. :) Or has anyone heard of someone going to a massage parlour and getting a "sad ending"?
EDIT: Maybe that's when you expect to get a "happy ending" but get told "We're not that kind of massage parlour"?
