Thanks for the summary :) Sounds like it's going very well! It's quite normal that the words all sound the same at the beginning stages of listening. The more you learn, the more you'll notice how different they are ;)

Actually, I find that Assimil works great alongside Chai and Conversation. It serves both as repetition and supplement. The structure of Assimil makes much more sense than EasyPersian. But if you have enough sources already, I think it makes sense to postpone Assimil. Having too many materials can be so distracting...
