Does Assimil Cantonese includes traditional or simplified chinese characters as well?
What romanization did they use - Jyutping or Yale?

Where's the best place to buy the book and audio? Please include the website.

Thanks!

Assimil Cantonese is written in traditional characters.
They use the Jyutping romanisation (and also a phonetic transcription adapted to the frenches in the first 20 lessons)
You can order on Assimil.ca if you live in Canada, it seems to be cheaper than Amazon.

Yes, for any English speakers wanting to learn Spanish, there is a brand new course which has been released by
Assimil.
I'm just about to buy the French course... but I bet that as soon as I buy it they'll announce an updated course for
French from English! :P typical, but that doesn't matter...

Am I the only one here who wishes that Assimil would neatly lay out all the courses which they offer? Instead of
us all having to jump around the internet trying to work out what is what...

Assimil has a nice website for French speakers though... how very typical of the French!

Curiously, Assimil has released a short course for Luxembourgeois:

LE LUXEMBOURGEOIS
À GRANDE VITESSE

This course different from the "Sans peine" series from the fact that:
1) There are only 30 lessons (but 34 dialogues)
2) It only has audio recording of 35 minutes in length.

I do not know if "À GRANDE VITESSE" will be a new series for those rare languages but
have significant demand from the users. May someone find out from the publishers?

They usually reply within a few days if you contact them on the website. I get
responses in English with no problem.

That's great. Might be time to get with the program with Cantonese.

I've the Spanish with Ease (1987) and the L'Espanol (2004). The book cover of L'Espanol
(2004) and the Assimil Spanish (2014) looks identical. Does it mean that the Spanish text
and audio are exactly the same as well?

The 2004 L'Espanol begins with a more basic level while the 1987 Spanish with Ease starts
with a more advance level but the content of the latter seems to be a bit disorganized.
