Your post just reminded me of something. I can't recall any of the sites offhand, since I've
not personally used them, but there are some sites that have scripts for various well-known K-dramas. That could effectively be your Korean subtitle source right there. 1 person has voted this message useful | |||

If you have an accurate transcript, it's possible to align it using Subtitle Edit, and then ask Subtitle Edit to call Google Translate (though I haven't tested the latter feature). Not ideal, but it would probably work. 1 person has voted this message useful | |||

With Chinese or Spanish i can do that, but i really don't have enough knowledge of Korean to build a subtitle out of a transcript. I spent a couple days learning the alphabet and going through the first level of Talk to me in Korean but in the end gave up when i couldn't find any suitable materials. Viki.com really has a nice wealth of stuff, unfortunately the translations are there but the original subtitles are rarely included.
Also, thanks for the KBS World link, unfortunately i don't know of a way to download subtitles from Youtube and it seems like they only have English subs anyway. 1 person has voted this message useful |
