I have now got the Micheal Thomas one on the comp so i shall be trying it after the weekend. i shall let everyone know how i get on.

You don't have to limit yourself to a single program.
When I set out to learn Italian, I bought a course (Hugo's complete Italian), a phrasebook, a concise dictionary, a
grammar workbook and a set of newspapers.
Rather than devoting all of your time to following a single learning method (Pimsleur or whatever), do loads of
things.
