Well I write on my TAC log after a long break because I am returning to my TAC languages
after studying French for a week. I decided it would be stupid to spend 6 weeks learning
one language and forget all the work I have done on the others! So while I will still
spend a lot of time studying French, I will also add Russian and Irish back into the mix.

Wow a lot of studying over the past couple of days! I think I am in the top ten for total
hours in the 6 week challenge. Just did 45 minutes of Russian and I have to say,
understanding spoken Russian isn't nearly so hard as I thought it would be, at least in
songs. Much easier than basically any language I have been doing already except for
German. Not what I would've expected.

Tá mé ag iarraidh Gaeilge a fhoghlaim, ach is Gaeilge go doiligh. Ba mhaith liom as
Gaeilge a labhairt, mar ní tá mé ábalta teanga Ceilteach a labhairt.
:P I bet that was terrible but at least I am trying.

So I am starting to learn Finnish as a replacement while Irish is going slowly. I still
want to study Irish but its not going so well without a teacher and virtually no advanced resources easily available.

Wow these consonant gradations are hard! But this might be my favorite language I have
worked on so far. What fun it must be to speak.

Well I don't really want to but I find it very difficult to apply my standard learning
methods on Irish when there is so few audio resources. I may go to Ireland this summer
and I may be able to find some good material there or maybe I will hire a teacher. Until
then I still want to study a language out of the norm, and Finnish fits quite well. It
really is such a cool language.
