Update:

Added more links.

vermillon:
Added to Clan Lugus. Removed from Schnitzel.

Kisfroccs:
Added to *jäŋe /*ledús

mikonai:
Added to German#2 which at this point is looking like it will be absorbed into German #1. We don’t have a team for Swahili or even African languages. I think it would be nice to have an African languages team, but they don’t seem that popular. Perhaps if we tried starting one at the very beginning of the sign-up period, it might attract enough members. We can try that next time. I never thought the Celtic team would take of either, but someone started it and now it’s almost full.

Vos:
Last year people continued to sign up well into January so you can just wait and see if you wish. Listen to Chung. He’s constantly filling my mailbox with messages about new members he’s managed to capture.

Prezemek:
Added to Alef and Yürükler

renaissancemedi:
Which team(s) would you like to be on? I would suggest the German team or French or Romance.

picnick:
Added to Asian#2

To primosanchez and others on small “second teams:” If your team doesn’t attract enough members, you will be moved into the original team on 31 Dec. Teams that might be absorbed into other teams included Romance#3/French/Spanish, Asian#2, Scandinavian#2, German#2, and possibly some others I’ve forgotten. So just wait a couple more days in case there is a big rush to sign up right before the New Year. I’m sorry for the wait, but last time there were people being turned away because of overfilled teams, so I want to give them as much chance as possible.

Thank you, and that's cool! Still trying to figure out my way around the forum and how
this competition works but I'll get into it by the new year :D

Language: Norwegian
Team or Individual: TEAM (Scandinavian Team #2)

Hey!
I am completely new to all this, but I've been checking out this forum since yesterday. I could not decide if
I want to participate in TAC as an individual learner or in a team, or if I want to participate at all. But finally
I decided that I want to be in a team.
I am learning Norwegian about a month now and this thing would be quite big challenge for me, but also a
great motivation to keep going.
Most likely I will start my log after the New Year.

I've decided to participate in the TAC here concurrently with the one on Reddit. I am studying Esperanto (just started learning it three weeks ago, see my log) and Spanish (I guess an A2 level after 3 years of half-assed study in school and some more motivated self-study over the summer).

I want to join a team, so I guess I'll join Romance Team #3. Wouldn't it make sense to merge the tiny Spanish and French teams into Romance Team #3? Also, is there a thread for the team yet? If not, I guess I'll go make it, I like organizing things (though I'm new to this forum and don't mind if someone else wants to take a leadership role).

And I can't embed links...that's great.

Please don’t bother making a team thread yet as the members of the French, Spanish and Romance#3 teams will most likely be moved over to the other Romance teams if these teams don’t attract enough members. I am just waiting until the end of the year since there are probably a number of people sitting on the fence waiting until the last minute to decide if they want to join the TAC. (See my quote below.)
