As Godfather of Team Schnitzel, I took the liberty of correcting your journal entry. I hope this helps. Good luck with learning German! :)

皆さん、おはよう!
先回からちょっと久しくね。
来週、3つの期末試験があるから、
日本語とドイツ語を勉強することの時間が余 りない。
日本語とドイツ語で 実況プレイ動画を たくさんみた。
本当に 面白いよ。
また、文脈がしっているし、 話は分かる安いよ。
ドイツ語で読解より 聞取りはいい・・・ ちょっと変だね・・・
EDIT:
When watching a let's play of Ocarina of Time, the Japanese guy seems to have problems
reding some of the kanji (志 乳母 登山道, etc.)... The first one isn't even difficult
(こころざし (he read it as いし).
People seems to tease him about it in the comments though. .p

I think I'll have to stop adding Anki cards for a while. I've got 130 due cards in the
Japanese sentence deck tomorrow... perhaps if I take a two week break from adding
(until
Thursday 24th - after my last exam this Semester).
Also, I keep using more time per card; went through only 4.3 cards per minute today
instead
of 5.5-6.5 cards per minute like I usually do.
Bis dann, Anki ;)
EDIT: Perhaps a couple though.. but no J-J branching. If I don't understand a J-J
definition completely, I add an English definition instead.

In my case it doesn't usually work to write a definition in the language. I find much more easy to translate it directly to my mother tongue by and large. I know the memory is visual and works with associations but... I don't know! Perhaps it's simply I'm not keen on other methods I tried.
I hope to read more about German!

I prefer monolingual definitions in Japanese, but in German it doesn't matter much,
because Norwegian (and English) and German are very similar language, thus many words
may have the same or similar origins, like vergessen<->forget and verantworten<-
>forsvare
In Japanese, however, there are many words that have no decent English translations and
sometimes the English translations go beyond my head, like the example in my opening
post.
I don't mention German much, but I do clock in at least an hour of German listening
every day (Let's play videos are fun :p), but not too much reading.

Oh, could you please share what are the funniest videos in German in your opinion? I should start to improve my listening faster.

You almost make me wish I could read Japanese. I'll leave that for a future challenge.
I am allergic to anki, but I like to hear about people's good experiences because some day I think I'll find the magic antidote and start liking/using anki.
Viel Spaß beim Lernen!
