Hey, hope I can join this team and be moved here from the first romance team. I
definitely like the idea of smaller teams :)
I'll be studying: Italian and Spanish actively My Italian is a B2/C1 and my Spanish is
a B1
I will be semi-studying: French
I might also add Portuguese and Romanian to the semi study list.
Also I will practice Sicilian with my family but I won't actively study it.

I posted at the end of the Romance 1 log, but can I join this one instead?
I'm Dearan, living in South Korea.
I'm planning on only studying French until I get to a decent enough level and then
possibly Spanish.

and I'm in! This year I'll be continuing with Spanish and French, but at a more
mellow pace than last year. I don't quite know how I'll balance it; I'm thinking now
that I'll aim for intense bursts of Spanish during the first couple six week
challenges. Or I might alternate weeks of French with weeks of Spanish. We'll see.
And I'll be continuing Ancient Greek, which is kind of Romantic!
TAC 2012 seemed kind of loose for the Romantics. We had so many people join then
disappear, and it never congealed as a group. I think it would help if we had certain
tasks, or markers, or something to keep us together and moving forward.
We're all at different levels, and have different study methods ... so I'm thinking
along the lines of having a TL game each month within the group. Something like ...
- Mailing out holiday cards in your target language to members of the group
- Cooking a recipe in your TL and sharing it with the group
- Finding a funny youtube video in your TL
... stuff like that.

Welcome, fellow-"Paxtons"! (Pax-ites? Paxans?)
Kerrie (and others): I've posted GRagazzo, Fezmond, and Kanewai as additions to "Pax" (or whatever we call it) on
the main TAC 2013 Sign-up thread.
Kanewai - l love your suggestions. As long as there's nothing which involves my having to sing...! (Believe me, my
singing voice is worse than my French accent, which is saying something. And the two combined, with me singing
in French...? - Quel désastre!)

Thanks, songlines. I think Brun Ugle is following the team threads pretty closely, and I'll keep the front page updated every day or so, too.
Kanewai, glad to have you aboard. I like the idea of little games like that spread throughout the year, too
@songlines - My ten year-old daughter likes to sing, and she sings worse than I do. Worse yet, she likes to play a song on youtube, and videotape herself singing along. Then she plays the video on her camera over and over again. I think I could handle hearing you sing. Not saying we need a singing thing, though. LOL I can't sing for the life of me, either. :)

Well then there's one ... we'll each find a TL song and have Kerrie's daughter sing it on
YouTube!
