I really wish I could join in. I hope this will happen again in the summer, around July. I want to try Spanish or French out.
I wish you all luck!

Hey, I might be a little late but I'm going to join in as well! I'll start tommorrow. I won't be adhering to the 30 minute time limit as I have loads of free time right now.
I'm gonna pick ... Cantonese!
The methods I'll be using:
-Teach Yourself Cantonese
-FSI Cantonese
-Pimsleur Cantonese
-Cantonese dramas and films
Good luck everyone!

This sounds like a great amount of fun, and I hope there is another one of these soon! (I'm sure its a bit too late into this to start a language XD)
If anothers rolls around in the next few weeks or so (I'm done with my Spring Semester in 2 weeks ^^) I'll definetly join~ The language to pick though, ohhh the choices! Knowing its not a dedicated 'take 4 years to study' thing really gives you MANY more options since its more of a try out. I think I'll try Portuguese.
Hmm my first post, yet I've lurked for almost a year or more... Interesting. WAY TO LURE ME OUT YOU JERKS! *Shakes his fist angrily*

Actually, it's been said that this challenge isn't necessarily time-restricted (well, not in the sense that everyone has to do it at the same time, at least). There were some early starters, and after all these dropouts we could use some fresh blood. It's only been a week, so you'd still be doing five of the six weeks together with us.

I have just begun learning Greek. I decided on a BBC course, a free Internet course from Cyprus, A Greek in 7 Days book (which I don't like but I will stick with it) an introductory course from Transparent and I have FSI Greek which I am having trouble getting into. FSI simply doesn't suit the way I learn but I will force myself.
