Nice compromise indeed. Plus I love this kanji so even better =)
Brun, I didn't consider you as a nobody either ;) I've been checking on your log for
quite some time already!
For everybody's level, I guess mine would be around B2. My listening is quite good (got
60/60 in the JLPT N2) and my speaking quite good, but I have trouble with using the
polite form naturally. I guess I should work on that this year!

Just realised I hadn't translated my intro even though I said I would, so now it's time
for the beginners among us to check if they got it right!
I usually make some mistakes in translation but the meaning will be good normally. If
some of you can put some of my sentences in a better English, I'd be grateful =)
"Good evening everybody,
I understand well Japanese, but I make some mistakes when I speak or write, and I have
trouble using Keigo (polite Japanese).
I started studying Japanese 4 years ago but didn't study seriously for 2 years.
Since Last year March, I've more or less always studied alone. I took the JLPT N2 last
december but failed by 5 points.
Then, from April until August, I did an exchange in Japan, I got (a bit) better, and
took again the JLPT N2 in July ((I actually didn't study at all this time around)).
This time, I passed! (I got a perfect score in listening.)
Next December, I plan on taking the JLPT N1 but I still need to study a lot.
Starting next January for 6 months, I'll be living with a Japanese Friend (House
share). So, if you have any question ((regarding japanese)), tell me!
Well, anyway I'll finish now my Introduction! Regards"
Hope most of you already understood before! ;)
Edit : Also just remember that some of you could not go to my website so here is the

It's a website in chinese where you can get movies and such in original version +
subtitles chinese (always) and also in the movie's language. So if you find a movie in
Japanese you could see it with Chinese and Japanese subtitles. I found such websites to
be quite rare to find.
Unfortunately it's in Chinese so if needed, I'll try to make an explanation related to
how it works (I don't speak chinese well but a friend taught me what was needed to be
known)
Edit : It had been a long time I hadn't gone on that website.. They seem to have added
some .. (let's say special) ads...

That was why I asked. Some pretty disturbing stuff, especially when one of the kanji
(哥) in one of the ads may mean "big brother"...

Yeah, sorry about that.. :/ However even though I took a break from it, my friends (who
didn't tell me about this news >< ) kept on using it to get movies with subtitles, so it
seems it may still be useful.
Then again, There are indeed disturbing stuff coming up in there...

Apparently there are a lot of people reading my log in secret. I knew stifa was there sometimes, but I was absolutely shocked when Cristina posted something. I wonder how many more closet Brun Ugle fans are out there.

Hi guys!
I'll be leaving in a little less than an hour, but I'll try to show up at least once and a while during the holidays. I might even try to get some studying in. I'm still not finished with my mystery novel.
メリー・クリスマス Merry Christmas
