I think we have enough interest in a German Team and a Mandarin Team as well. Both of which I am interested in.

French? I haven't heard much talk about it, but there are so many French learners on this forum, you would
think...

Also, someone threw out an idea for a "rare" languages team. I'd be up for that. Indonesian isn't exactly rare in
the world since lots of people speak it, but it seems to be fairly hard to find fellow learners on this forum.

You can add Persian/Iranian language family to that list. I'm guessing we'll either be a small team (there has been some interest on other threads) or even just a Tandem consisting of ellasevia and myself. I'm not keen on being added to a middle-eastern team, because that hasn't worked out very well for either of us this year.

A point of clarification on my sign-up:

I am looking to join a German Team and a Mandarin Team (hopefully both dedicated). I am no longer looking to join for Spanish.

Thanks!

Team German so far (sorry if I missed anyone):
BaronBill
g-bod
geoffw
fabrciocarraro
Cavesa
Liammcg
Sarnek
stifa
Serpent
Zireael (observer)
Josquin (Godfather?)

Team Mandarin so far (sorry if I missed anyone):
Baronbill
Ellasevia
Js6426
sunja
Ninibo

Let's see more Mandarin learners!

Edit: Added Serpent to German list
Added Ninibo to Mandarin list
Added Zireael as observer to German Team
Added Josquin as possible Godfather for German Team

I'm in for rare languages, so long as I can join in May instead of January! (Not that Tagalog is rare - but there aren't
a lot of people learning it.)

I also might be in for improving my Spanish - although I don't feel that I need the group as much as I might for
Tagalog.

And I'd be happy to help if the French group needs any support.

Maybe too many? The last Romance team was so big, and we had such varying levels of
experience, that I don't know if we ever bonded as a group. We gave it a good shot for
awhile, though.
