I will take part in TAC 2014.

Languages I can join with are too many, but I will consider joining one team only.

Languages I want to improve next year are Korean, Romanian, Hebrew and Icelandic. (OK,
I might do Romanian in-situ).

Korean (currently A1-A2 beginner, getting a little better with more complicated
sentence structures but lacking tons of vocab)
Romanian (B1-B2, may have the chance to live in-country)
Hebrew (A2-B1, want to improve to fluency)
Icelandic (A1)

There will be some dabblings in other languages but these are the main ones. Breton
maybe?

My languages:
German - Approaching B2 - Goal: C1
Japanese - B1 - Goal: B2 (at least passive)

I'll only be joining a German team though.

I'd love to do TAC 2014!

My other two languages are dormant right now because of Mandarin. I’ll be focusing on it this year. I started in October so I’m not very far along yet.

My goal: writing/reading - roughly 1,000 words (Assimil covers 800 characters); speaking - Level HSK 3

If there's a team for Mandarin or if Crane chooses to continue, I'd like to join, please :)

My goals:

Spanish: currently B1/B2, would like to finish the year at a solid B2 (or even - dare I hope - C1)
Tagalog: currently non-existent, will start studying in May and would like to reach conversational level (equivalent
to B1, except spoken only)

I don't know that I'd join a team for Spanish. I would, however, love to have support in learning Tagalog.

I guess I'll join in again, with the focus being on Romance languages as always. My slightly vague plan (already wrote more detail in the goals thread):

Spanish: beginner (maybe A1 - never studied it but I've certainly picked some up) to conversational (B2 would be optimistic, but I think there's enough Spanish people here to make it possible!).
Italian: just about B2 now, and realistically I'd be aiming for a stronger B2.
French: between B2 and C1 now, aiming to maintain that at the very least and hopefully improve, although C1 is unlikely.
Maybe some Greek, maybe not, we'll see.

Italian: Currently A1/A2 Level, hoping to reach a B2 level by the end of the year.

I may study Arabic, Portuguese, or Russian in school. I'm not quite sure which one yet.
I also want to study Dutch on my own, after I "finish" Italian.

I would like to take part in the new TAC with these languages:

Russian: current level B1 - goal B2

Irish: current level A1 - goal B1

Japanese: current level A0-A1 - goal A2

I very much hope there will be a Celtic team and, of course, I would volunteer to become the Godfather of the German team again.
