I thought I had posted this already, but clearly I did something wrong...
If it's not too late, I'd love to join Team Oranje to learn Dutch. I've been living in The Netherlands (The Hague) for
almost five years, and unfortunately, my Dutch is just at survival level, below basic. I haven't identified specific goals
yet, but I'd love to get to an advanced beginner level, to be able to have a decent basic conversation, and be able to
finally read the newspaper and some Dutch novels.
Looking forward to participating, and getting and giving encouragement to improve my language skills. The last
time I seriously tried to learn a second language was over thirty years ago, so my language learning skills are a bit
rusty, but I'm hoping to get back in the groove...

I'm not sure if it's important but I'm not mentioned in the first post as a participant. I joined Italian team (I wrote about it at the page 55). Apart from that I'll study English, German and Swedish this year but not sure how intense or regular it will be so I haven't joined teams for thess languages.

I will be studying French and Russian this year
I want to be a solid B1 by Apr (I'm a A2 now), because I'm may be going to France on
vacations. (Almost certain)
My plan is to study French as hard as I can during Jan to Apr (using immersion
simulation), studying only 30' a day of Russian and focus on Russian from May to Dec.
