@Lorren: Great work, congratulations! You must be really pleased!
@druckfehler: The most important part is to participate - and you got so close and got enough out of it to
consider yourself a winner too :-)
Great going, both of you!

Since some people, including Cristina, are faithful to the old htlal, I will post here as well:
Thanks a lot for organising the challenge! It was awesome.
I completed the Spanish SC on time. I had to drop the German one.
I loved the challenge and liked the bot as it was really easy to track everything.
Not only my comprehension improved significantly. My grammar and vocabular workbooks are now much easier, I have easier time writing and thinking in Spanish, I have yet to try more speaking. But I suppose I'll find some nice progress there as well, after my experience with French. I am continuing with lots of Spanish input aside my other activities.
Congratulations to everyone actively participating, especially those crazy people on the top of the list who never ceased to amaze and inspire me! ;-)

That's awesome, Druckfehler! That's pretty much close enough.

There is an announcement about the 2016-17 Super challenge bot here: http://forum.language-learners.org/viewtopic.php?f=21&t=2422
It is open for registration only, recording of SC books & films doesn't start until Solfrid Cristin officially kicks off the SC on the 1st of May.

I'm on it! Trying to finish my first Swedish book before May 1 as a warm up.
As inspection of the old scores shows, I abandoned my previous SC (even though I kept reading
voraciously). I fell victim to the trap of spreading myself too thin, signing up for too many projects. It soon
became clear that I couldn't, and didn't even want to actually pursue them all. I was also a bit burned out
on recording pages and hours, even after 5 months respite. I plan to be more careful this time around, and
I'm itching to have some real pages goals again! I learned both Dutch and French as a result of the first SC
(both of which I still use today), and I hope to replicate that level of success this year.
BTW, Cristina, I'm currently enjoying my first Norwegian TV series! "Occupied" is now available to us in the
US. My wife even likes it, too! And they even speak a little Swedish occasionally (and Russian, of course),
although at this point I can't even tell it apart from Norwegian most of the time.

Please tell me that it is the Swedish and Norwegian you struggle to keep apart, and not Norwegian and Russian :-)
