I'd like to be downgraded (T_T) to just
wanderluster for next year. I will be studying
Norwegian next year but probably not enough to
keep up with you guys.

Count me in as an active Wanderluster for both Danish and Norwegian next year.

I haven't seen anyone applying for the team lead in 2014 yet. I would point my fingers
towards Emme or Kez. What do you guys think?

Thanks for thinking of me as a potential team leader, but I’m not sure I am team-leader material especially since I tend to disappear from the forum for weeks sometimes.
If some other senior member (because of restrictions on editing, creating links and sending PM etc. See Serpent’s post nr. 254 here) volunteers, I’d be more than happy to keep my secondary role while still trying to do my best to contribute to the team.
What about Kez, who's now learning Swedish in situ?
Or Expugnator or Fasulye who are always very consistent in their studies?
Or jeff_lindqvist if he can balance both being a forum moderator (same problem with Fasulye) and a team leader? I’m not even sure whether he means to be an active member of the team or just an observer as I find the definition “active Wanderluster” somewhat ambiguous. :-( He could also be the guardian angel for the Swedish learners.
What about Cavesa, who’s new to Swedish but is clearly very invested in the TAC, though she may end up leading a French team?
What about you, daegga?
Anyone else? Other opinions out there?

I would also like to vacate the position as fairy Godmother for Norwegian :-) I have loved working with you
guys, but it is always good to have some fresh blood, and someone with new ideas.
If no one comes forward I am willing to step in, but if someone with lots of new energy and ideas come by
and could do it, that would be even better.

I don't know how active i will be able to be. Big part of my studies, at least in the
beginning of the year, will be SFI. I'm not sure how busy I will be with that but i'm
planning to give it my full 100% and rush through it as fast as possible.
I will still post all the new series/movies/books I find and other learning sources i
stumble upon but i'm not sure if i'll have to time to actually be active enough to lead.
Any other senior members that might have the time and are active enough to do it?

Guys, I've already declined the invitation to be Team Leader for Chinese :/ I am busy
throughout the day, I don't think I'd be an active enough leader.

Just another idea. What about a "board of veterans", where members with TAC experience
step in as temporary leaders whenever they have the time and are in the mood to do so?
Maybe people would more likely take the initiative this way instead of waiting for the
team leader to come up with something. This would still require a "diplomat" for
interactions with the outside world, updating the first post with important information
etc. though. This could be someone who is active on the forum all year long anyway (like
the moderators) but wouldn't feel like taking over the team lead.
Just a thought... :)
