This probably won't go very far but, hey, why not?

Quid agis hodie, omnes?

That's impressive, people using Latin as an active means of communication! At school I've never been taught using Latin actively. Nozomi and Iversen, I can read and understand what you wrote, but I cannot reply in Latin. We always had to translate Latin texts into German, which I found quite boring. But now I've got a dictionary including modern Latin with words such as:

computer = machina computatoria, ae
engineer = machinator, oris
attorney of law = causidico, causidica
cyclist = birotarius, birotaria
highway = strata autocinetica
apprentice = excolendus, excolenda
grocery shop = taberna alimentaria
loudspeaker = megafonum, i
car = autovehiculum, i
sale = venditio rerum reliquarum

(from: PONS, Schülerwörterbuch Latein)

I haven't had such a modern dictionary at school (in the 70's), because at that time they didn't exist. It's a very interesting vocabulary, isn't it?

I am sorry for not being able to write this passage in Latin. But keep on writing in Latin, please, I will read it and try to understand it. It's a good exercise for me.

Ego mihimet non certus sum quod latine emendate scribere possim - facte certus potius sum non nisi latine mendose scribere - sed oportet tentare. Fortasse Pons liber discipulorum teudiscorum tandem mihi utilis fiat. Latinam linguam ut sermonem vivam tractare debemus.

Quoque malus non possum (I know I am not using the right ending, sorry) quid scribēs legere. Verbum Latinae difficulus scribēre. Fabulam in certaminem (verba certamen) paro narrāre; id Declomantio (forgive my spelling, please) est. "Cicero's first Catalinarian" narrābō itaque timeō sum.

Sciō quid narrās! Quod Latinane non vivit? Latinam dicēre volo! Et tu etiam, probabiliter.

(Hope I could, at least, get my point across.)

Liber meus index novarum vocabularium Latinum habet ISBN: 978-3-12-517534-1.
Liber Latinum-Germanum et Germanum-Latinum est.

Te assentio: Linguam Latinam et sermonem vivam tractare debemus.
Sed lingua Latina non modo lingua traductionis est, ut discipuli scola discent.
Lingua Latina seat lingua conversationis et comunicationis. Id opinio mea est!
