I have posted my end-of-year summary now too.
What's the plan for next year - are we keeping the same name/thread? And will you still be our leader, Chung? :) When I looked at the TAC Wikia the other day I noticed you hadn't signed up so wasn't sure whether your Turkic challenge was going to be taking up all your time?

If you folks want to make up the team for 2015, then I don't mind sticking around as the leader. However I warn you that I'm likely to stick to the "leadership" style of the past couple of years. Anyone who's studying a Balto-Slavonic or Uralic language and wants to be a more active leader than I is welcome to take my place, though. Let me know if this is the case.
In any case I'd like to put out a challenge, albeit a low-stress one, sometime in the next couple of months. I had intended to put it in place for the Finnish and Polish/Ukrainian teams, but ultimately never did so. I'm curious how it would turn out with us when we're studying different languages and at different levels in each of them.
The Turkic challenge will take some time, but it's so far quite manageable (it also helps that we're starting with Azeri which is quite similar to Turkish and that also means that I haven't been bogged down yet to the detriment of the languages for which I'm more serious. Things should also ease more once I stop studying Russian upon finishing "New Penguin Russian Course".

I would definitely be happy if you don't mind staying as leader, and a low-stress
challenge sounds intriguing :) There are eight people signed up to the Finno-Ugric and
Balto-Slavonic team on the Wikia at the moment so should be enough for a good team again
this year.
