I am not proud of this, but I have taken adderall to prepare for finals in college. I memorized 160 pages of thermodynamics in under 6 hours, to the point when the next day (the test was the following day) I was correcting the teacher and said "you missed a negative on that exponent over there" I scared the hell out of myself, I got at 85% on my exam, from knowing next to nothing in the previous 24 hours.

Not likely. Please don't exaggerate the "benefits". Your post could influence people to start taking these extremely
dangerous drugs.

If it makes it any better,

IF YOU DO NOT UNDERSTAND WHAT YOU ARE LEARNING, THESE DRUGS WILL DO NOTHING. THEY PREVENT YOU FROM GETTING TIRED/DISTRACTED. THEY ARE USED FOR CRAMMING, NOT LEARNING.

DISCLAIMER: I REMEMBER A GREAT PART OF WHAT I STUDIED WEEKS AGO, BUT NO WHERE NEAR WHAT I DID DURING THE FOLLOWING 24-48 HOURS.

There :)

All in all, they are merely a way of preventing you from hitting a wall during learning, nothing "special" and not a super drug.
