I'm not officially signing on yet. I want to see how this idea is fleshed out first.

Nice, looks like progress is being made.
solid ideas Buttons.
Notes from the other thread:
-Native speaker in each group (difficult)
-All about the same level
-all studying the same language or at least all have one language in common
I think the easiest may be to have it arranged where we all have one language in common that we are studying
The Dutch Team
Person 1 - dutch, Spanish, Italian
person 2 - dutch, indonesian, russian
person 3 - dutch, etc

It's the question, whether I'm interested in a team competition, because I won't change my way of logging. I rather focus on explaining the contents of my study than enumerating results.

I'm very tempted to switch my logging to a single team log for TAC 2010. I think teams of 16 members each are too large. I think it would be difficult to get a sense of a team with that many people. I'd like to see teams of six grouped randomly or some other arbitrary way. I'd also like to see a good deal of flexibility in the goals. When I drafted my specific goals at the start of this year, I didn't realise how different they'd be by the end. Perhaps that's part of the fun.
