I think the name indicates a former social status: either a noble with a lot of pigs or a pig shepard.

I saw the listing for a Roman Lechuga (Lettuce). Spanish has some really funny last names, one of my favourites is Casimiro (almost seen).

Yes, Austrian.

what about Sc**thorpe ? - Yes, that seems to be censored too (the two missing letters are u and n). That is so silly.

I was puzzled for a few seconds, and then I remembered that on another forum there is a Filter(TM) censoring even the title of Rembrandt's famous painting, the N-i-g-h-t-w-a-t-c-h. Having driven through Sc***... a couple of times, I would never have guessed the linguistically nonsensical reaction towards the letters c-u-n-t.

There's also a little Austrian town that's pronounced like fooking (actually it rimes with "look"), but spelt like the expletive.

My boss is named Dick Daly.
There's a kid in the seventh grade named Buffalo Hird. (Pronounced like "herd"). Honestly, how cruel is that?

At work, I met a Korean man named Won Suk Yoo. I'm sure it sounds a lot better in Korean than in English!

This past Christmas in France, a family named "Paire" named their newborn son "Noel". Putting both together, one gets Paire Noel which means Santa Claus. (The real spelling should be "Père" (Dad). I read that they did it on purpose too. Poor kid.
