One problem I have is I can't find a Russian who isn't learning or doesn't already know English. It's not that I don't like to help people with their English or that I hate English (oh wait actually I do hate English =D), but that I want to have a conversation where there is absolutely no chance to fall back on English. Does anyone know of a language exchange site where there are many non-English speakers not learning English?

I've been really busy lately. Not busy enough to not get at least a little bit of Russian in, but too busy to get on her an update it. Although I don't complete all of my goals time isn't wasted. I think in Russian and talk to myself in Russian. It has started to get to a point where I'm getting more confident. I'm not as afraid to mess up as I use to be. Happy language learning everyone!

I have never tried it, but I don't care for programs like that. Typically they have natives talk really slowly, and I'd rather listen to native talking speed. Plus those programs usually cost a lot.

Well how I started Russian is different than how I would start my next language because I didn't know what I was doing, but I guess I wouldn't do much different than what I am going now. You need to make sure you speak with a Russian and have them help you with pronouncing each individual letter, small words, and words you find difficult to pronounce.
Я сказал по-русски сегодня. We talked for an hour and ten minutes. We didn't speak Russian 100% of the time, but a lot of the conversation was in Russian.
