Oh sorry, منزعجا is حال and not خبر so it's منصوبة
Didn't you study الإعراب? it's the most annoying thing in the world but you have to learn the basics only cos most Arabs don't know إعراب anyway.

Lesson plan for the day:

Revisit first 6 verbal forms.
Revisit - comparatives, relative clauses, cognate accusative, haal construction, tamyiiz
construction and the conditional.
Ooh, that's a lot.
But I really need to put in the effort since I've been skiving for the past two weeks.

Also, read some headlines on al-jazeera

Hi;
I want to suggest one thing for you , what If you moved your study to specific dialect , I think that any dialect is more easier than MSA (but If you study it for religious It'll be important), I'll now suggest Egyptian one , but I think you can - depend on what you've done with MSA - to move to certain dialect ...

Dialects are not easier than MSA, it doesn't have grammatical structure and the words keep changing, disappearing, showing up so he won't be able to keep up with that if he doesn't live in Arabic country.
Everything is good on its time, MSA first then dialects, why being hurry?

I'm back......

Was backpacking across SE Asia. That's always fun. Thailand was nice as usual. Been to
Bangkok before so didn't really stay there for too long. Went trekking in Kanchanaburi
instead. The Angkor temples were amazing. Landmine museums, killing fields and torture
centers were more sobering. And no, I didn't try to learn any local languages. I must say
Khmer looks really complex.

I've forgotten so much Arabic it's not even funny. Not sure if I relish starting from
scratch again. The first time was a slog. The second time... :( ???
