In urdu/hindustani its not very irregular, its regular for plural but irregular overall none the less (i guess)
'to be' is 'hona' it is in quotes I am/ &nb sp; &nb sp; mai 'hun' we are/ &n bsp; &n bsp; hum 'hain' you(singular/informal) are/ tu 'hai' you(singular) are/ &n bsp; tum 'ho' you(plural/formal) are/ &n bsp;aap 'hain' he/she/it is/ &nb sp; &nb sp;woh 'hai' they are/ &n bsp; woh 'hain' 'to be' is also irregular in Pashto language 1 person has voted this message useful | |||

Hmm, yes different languages have different grammars, so maybe Korean does not have personal verb forms, but there are some irregularities still. 1 person has voted this message useful | |||

Some languages do not have this ver at all, but instead conjugate nouns/adjective in tenses/modes/person/number, etc. Such conjugation is most common when used as the head of a sentence though.

Polish, Bulgarian, Macedonian, Slovene, Persian - all irregular:
Polish ja jestem, ty jesteś, on jest, ona jest, ono jest, my jesteśmy, wy jesteście, oni są, one są Bulgarian аз съм, ти си, той е, тя е, то е, ние сме, вие сте, те са Macedonian аз сум, ти си, тој е, таа е, тоа е, ние сме, вие сте, тие се Slovene jaz sem, ti si, on/ona/ono je, mi smo, vi ste, oni/(one) so In Slovene it's even more irregular because of dual: midva/midve sva vidva/vidve sta onadva/onidve sta Persian man hastam to hasti u ast/hast mā hastim šomā hastad ānhā hastand Though it has to be said that in Persian it's "almost regular". 1 person has voted this message useful | |||
