ENFP is the result I always get and I feel it describes me quite accurately. I tried
the long test; The E, N, and F are all around 70% which seems accurate enough as I lean
these ways but not strongly. The P is 91% so very strong, and I am indeed one of these
people who's bad at making decisions and likes to keep their options open.

The I vs E is always interesting, and we discussed it on the introvert/extrovert thread
a while ago. I'm very much ambiverted (I need plenty of both socialising and alone time
to be energised) I think what tips me over the edge to E is that my "introvert"
activities all have "extrovert" goals - my main motivation for learning languages is
that I love communicating with people and express myself; I practise guitar because I
like to be on stage and share my music and be the centre of attention; I read (mostly
non-fiction) to understand the world I'm in and how to best live in it; I work (as a
programmer) because I like to be able to live an enjoyable lifestyle where I live in
the city and socialise a lot; I work out and learn about nutrition because I want to
have the health and energy to enjoy an exciting life. However a true extrovert would
probably be quite happy to not bother with any of that stuff and just spend all his
time socialising; I guess my introverted side is what makes me appreciate these
activities' rewards in themselves. Or something like that.

INFJ
'The Counsellor' (some sites personalise types by assigning a title)

I did this test a few years ago, not thinking it would amount to much, but it's
given me some useful and confirmatory insights.

I'm INFJ and am happy to see there are others, too!

The part I'm uncertain about in the thinking/feeling dichotomy. I'd say I'm about equal in both.

I remember taking the long test many years ago and getting an uncommon personality trait combination. I checked the chart on the Wikipedia page with the percentages for Americans, and mine is the least common with 1% to 3%. If these are reliable statistics, I guess that explains why I often feel like a cultural misfit!

For some of the answers I wish there was a 'no opinion' option

I've taken this many times before and I usually get INTJ. Sometimes I get ISTJ; I think I'm about 50/50 with N and S.
